Divinity 2 Loading Screen Fix: A Comprehensive Tutorial for Windows Users

Hey good day, what do I do if i did the game files integrity one and it still just loads up? should I reinstall it instead?edit: reinstalled it, still no dice. please give me a fix for the infinite loading issue

I'm having the same problems with Xbox Games Pass version. Worked absolutely fine when I installed it yesterday. Today I can't get past the initial loading screen. Tried all of above, reinstalling, updating everything possible, and still no joy :(

Divinity 2 Loading Screen Fix

Thanks for posting this fix! Re-naming the intro mp4 fixed the issue for me. This needs a patch asap - I almost requested a refund! The game is so incredibly complex - it's kind of funny that something as simple as not loading an mp4 could be a showstopper.

My game freezes on the loading screen leaving the first town for the first time. I've verified file integrity and unisnstalled / reinstalled the game. Still freezes on the transition load. Also, it crashes when I come out of the map.

I tried to play the game again after a 2-year hiatus... only to find I still cannot get past the loading screen. Worse, nothing I do can get me past that barrier. While it's an okay menu with some interesting ships in the background, I would really like to be able to see more than just this menu.

The loading screen simply lasts forever, and never loads anything. I have tried waiting for more than 3 hours, and it never gets any further than that screen. Sometimes... about once in 5 attempts, a little dialog box pops up underneath the game, saying AvorionServer.exe has crashed... but closing it does nothing to the game. Most of the time, this never appears, and there is no feedback of any kind that something is wrong... other than the loading screen never ending. The only way of getting out of the infinite loading screen is to kill the game from the Windows Task Manager.

The only time you can get online is straight after server restart in the morning (4-5am). But you will soon lose connection, and not be able to join again (instead becoming stuck in the infinite loading screen).

I am having problems logging into the game its taking very long, it only happens to me 2 hours ago, earlier was ok, loading screen is extremely slow and when i log in it says error and i can;t see my guild members in my guild and i cant see the black lion trading post and gem store, they cant load at all for me what is happening?

@Najten.2418 said:I'm experiencing extremely slow loading times whenever changing maps, and it started today. Thought at first it was Divinity's Reach due to the event, but it's happening with all maps it seems.

I am very disappointed and fustrated right now its been more than 12 hours and they still havent fix the problems, i woke up and tried still i cant connect to the gw2 server, and for some reasons gw2 wiki is loading very slow for me as well, and i am pretty sure its not my pc problems or my internet connection, i am perfectly fine with other games and websites, my internet service provider said they will do a testing to connect to the gw2 servers and monitor it today and see how it goes, they cant connect to the gw2 server as well for your information so its not just me.

Multiplayer is available in Divinity: Original Sin 2 in both online and offline versions. Players may enjoy split-screen "couch co-op" or join online sessions from other players, or any combination therein.

This occurs after you load your character in the Main Menu. Instead of the game loading as intended and being able to play the game, it will instead be stuck in an endless loading loop. So, how to fix this? Well, the fix that has helped the most players is to create a new character, enter the game, get to Kamura village, and then quit to the Main Menu. After that, load your main character save, the one that was giving you problems. Hopefully, this should resolve the Stuck on Loading Screen issue and allow you to play the game.

For your information, Steam is not only a game distribution platform but also serves as a launcher. Hence, instead of using separate game launchers, you could play all of your games straight from Steam. That being said, a couple of games may act up if you launch them via Steam and Neverwinter is one of them. If you get stuck on the loading screen whenever you play Neverwinter, give Steam some thought.

The obvious solution seems to be to build in a time-out which automatically disconnects players after a certain amount of time. However since this seems so obvious I can't imagine you guys from codemasters haven't thought about that yet. I therefore assume that the screen information with a stuck player is not the full story. What is happening in thosse cases? Is there a way to prevent it?

They should just time out the slow players. What makes it even worse is, if you minimize the game on PC it won't load, it will wait for you to come back into the game before it loads. This way I delayed many lobbies by accident and other players probably too. This was not the case in 2020 where you could hear in the background that it finished loading and the race is about to start

So I was playing ARAM last night, and suddenly I got a red border/frame around my screen. I couldn't move my screen with my mouse anymore. And I had to play with a locked camera for the rest of the game.

This is what happens if you press the F9 Key. It's intended for multiple screen usage so the mouse cursor won't leave the game. If you are experiencing this issue just press F9 again and you will be able to move the camera around freely.

I had this same issue. I realized that my screen was not in fullscreen. I know...that is dumb. But i changed it in the game options in Sims 4. Go to Graphics > Display type > Full screen > Apply changes. Literally saved my life lol. Hope this helps!!!

Step 1. Launch the affected game and linger your mouse over the game on the Taskbar of your computer. Then you can see a preview screen of the game will display on the Taskbar.

Divinity: Original Sin 2, the long awaited sequel to the hit project from Larian Studios, has become available on Steam, and it looks like many players are enjoying this game. The sequel was a success, as you have virtually unlimited freedom for research and experimentation, up to 4 players in online mode, local split-screen mode, the Game master, and many other great features and functions.

This problem affects only some users. The game can crash from time to time in different situations: during gameplay or at loading screen. If you were one of these players, you can try the following steps: 2ff7e9595c
